With 4 years of teaching in this High School, the double bass studio at Marcus High School has excelled in All Region orchestras. Moreover, the students have shown dedication and impulse to create a musical journey fortified with positive learning and enlightened orientation. As a college-experienced teacher, and a musician who has been taught multiple approaches to bass technique, the career paths I work with the students at Marcus High School are guided by enriching their lives with music by showing the multiple options of how music can create a safe and encouraging environment in their lives: as a full-time musician, as a minor, or as a hobby.
